Title: Bangkok Pool Party on a Pickup Truck (aka A short trip to my hometown)
Description: A satirical collage that pokes fun in a tongue-in-cheek way at foreigners celebrating Songkran (Thai New Year) festival in Bangkok.
Bio: Gloria Supatra Bhargava is a collage artist based in Bangkok. In particular, she likes to portray the iconoclastic dystopia of 1950s American Hollywood life against the backdrop of the newly-emerging super-societies of the future and the wider cosmos. Her works are often nihilistic, surreal, and with just the right touch of satire.
